The Rams name was Cassidy and he was a Dorper Katahdin cross ( types of hair sheep). He was an excellent ram, he was easy going and never a problem to handle. He liked pears, apple pomace and an occasional back scratch. He was our first ram and was 2yrs old when he and his flock came to us. Only one sheep is left from that group from 11 yrs ago and his name is Butch, he was Cassidy’s companion because Cassidy was a jumper and didn’t like being alone.
Butch is a Dorper Katahdin cross and is a wether (a castrated male sheep) he is also
13yrs old and has tried to die on us twice. Butch is fond of pears, pomace and a good back scratch!
